W. P. Carey has an outstanding opportunity for an enthusiastic Lease Administration Intern to join the diverse and international Accounting team in our Amsterdam office. The candidate will be under the guidance of our Senior International Lease Analyst and will learn to handle and complete high volume tasks within a deadline. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform analytical procedures on revenue-related topics and reports * Support entities with accounting-related issues * Handle tenant/lease-related queries and issues * Perform billing and revenue collection activities, including booking invoices and corresponding cash receipts * Perform calculations to adjust revenue based on price index metrics to account for inflation * Assist with corporate reporting * Assist with additional ad hoc projects
* Interest in Real Estate Investment * Excellent communication skills * Business and Accounting education background * Flexible and energetic personality with a can-do approach to problem solving * Working knowledge of MS Office * Ability to learn new skills in the financial, operational, and administrative systems * Quick learner and ability to adjust appropriately in a dynamic environment
